Our Curriculum Overview

The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the State Government from Std. I – Std. X. and Central Board of Secondary Education till IV Std.

Along with the compulsory First language English and second language Hindi, students are given a third language of Marathi from classes I to X. 

For SSC board, we follow all the guidelines provided by the state.

  • For classes I to VIII – General Science
  • IX to X – Science and Technology.

As per the CBSE guidelines, assessments are based on CCE or the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation using both formal and non-formal techniques.

For CBSE

  • Classes I to IV, there are summative examinations held and their annual report is based on a series of formative assessments.

Along with the academic content, the curriculum comprises of a rich co-curricular part which includes music, dance, art, craft, sports, computers,Foundation of Information Technology, projects, excursions and other activities. Regular sessions of Carrer Guidance are taken up to ensure growth in emotional and social component of the child’s personality.

Houses

The system of having four Houses has been designed to encourage competition among students and to create a healthy growing environment. This leads each student of a House to constantly perform and strive to be better. Every child and teacher belongs to a House – each house name is based on Vedic literature that describes three ways to attain Mukti or salvation: Jnana – The path of wisdom, Karma – The path of action, and Bhakti – The path of Upâsana or worship.

Each House has a House Mistress/House Master and Assistant House Mistress/Assistant House Master selected from members of the staff and House Captain and Assistant House Captain amongst the students. Together, the members of the Houses and the badge holders execute the day-to-day activities of the school. Assembly activities, festive celebrations, and days of national/International importance are planned and executed interestingly and effectively.
